All,
Just a couple of quick question. My wife recently approved a CL for 5k she have excellent credit 760. I just added myself as an authorized user, my question is would this help increase my score? or maybe not because the CC is a new card? I have 3 CC and 1 store card which is 4k CL. I also have couple of personal loan and auto loan as well.
On a side note i been trying to keep my balance 9% or less for all my CC just like almost every members in here recommended but this seem doesnt work for me. Score would not jump or just slowly jump a point or two. Recently i let my balance carry over 20% and my score jumped 15point which is surprised me very much. Should I keep my balance 20% or less for carry over balance since it work for me or keep my balance less then 9%.
Thanks in Advance.
I added my fiance on a few cards a few months ago. It boosted his score significantly like 40 points
Is any of your card is brand new card? or recent open?

As a general rule, its only going to help if you have no current credit lines. If the AU account is older, then it can also help by increasing your AAoA, but thats not going to be the case here.
my oldest Credit card account his 1 and half year old, and my oldest loan was 4 years ago but paid off. so you're saying it would help my score at all?
