Authorized user to build credit

My gf has no credit so i added her to one of my cards which i hold onto. Can she build credit without using the card? I rarely ever use the primary card

Yes, she can. But you have to use it sparingly to show at least there is some activity on it. Also, One card alone is not enough to fully build credit. She'd have to get her own as well and get the right credit mix for good results.

Let us know if you want us to help you and your girlfriend develop a plan for building her credit. The plan is the key thing.
