Would any of the wonderful followers here happen to know which credit card companies add the credit cards original credit history to a new Authorized user being added. I've added 4 cards with about $ 5,000 credit over past year. My current used is about 2% and I'm trying to remove of negatives from credit reports, but short credit history is hurting me. I have a number of family members and friends willing to add me as Authorized user. Is this a good approach, ANY SUGGESTIONS????
Thanks for every one that helps out here. Bunch of outstanding people helping others with credit issues.

I think it's a touch and go situation. My AmEX added my daughter so that she has over 26 years of credit. I recently added my son-in-law and his score went up 10 points, but I don't know if it was due to age of credit or the amount of available credit.
