Hello! I recently was surprised NFCU gave me an auto increase on the Platinum cc. I use this card a lot, and tend to put my higher priced purchases on this. My question is, since I didn't ask for the increase, will this affect my scoring, i.e., "seeking credit" blurb?
Thank you for any info.
Congrats on the increase! Good news, no it will not affect your seeking credit. That is made up of new accounts listed on your reports and new hard inquiries.

No, seeking credit references the number of inquiries you have.
Oh, thank you, for the quick reply!

Thanks! I am such a micromanager of my accounts, I stress over the little stuff as I am so afraid by not doing so, it will get out from under me and I'll end up with a big problem!

No, it will not.
