I got a 4 pt TU decrease the day my auto loan reported under 15,000 owed (went from 15,600 to 14,900). Any thoughts? TIA.
Equifax also decreased my score TEN points when an old dispute was removed. That annoyed me.

Its possible, those points on the auto loan will be recovered as it ages. on the EQ dispute if it was an OC account that was older it affected your AAoA and that is the most likely culprit, you will recover those too as your current accounts age.
Thank you. IT was originally a 41,000 dollar loan - taken out in October 2011. I'm hoping it was an anomoly and will go back up as i am paying down all other lines of credit. grr. Just when we were trying to get preapproved for our mortgage. Re: The other accts. I don't know what OC and AAoA is. I'm goin to try look it up now. TY for your help!
