Is this TU by any chance?

Yes. It's TU
Look very closely at the text of the alert. It says "Balance Change", does not indicate a direction.
TU only reports the total balance of all cards included in that amount, so on the same day, combined in the same one alert, there could be some cards increasing, some cards decreasing. Thus, they can't commit to tell you whether all those card changes are increases or decreases, only that, on net, there was a change in total balances today.
And yes, TU routinely backdates their notifications by two days, sometimes three days.
EQ and EX, because they report individual cards, can commit to tell you what direction that card changed, either increase or decrease, and they tend to be closer to the stated date of the change, though often are still delayed a day when you actually see the alert.
I called Myfico and was assured that the information I pulled on 3/30 is the accurate information as it's the most current information. I'm just going to trust the information I see on the dashboard like I've always done. I feel like it's a racket and that Transunion needs to get their act together.
Well what's happening (and I only just sorta figured it out after getting alert notices and not finding it):
The alert date in the app is the reporting date of the change as recorded by the bureau when it comes to balances and similar, not the actual date the monitoring system picked it up (or even when the CRA inserted the data for that matter). Vis a vis I got a TU alert yesterday for a change which was reported on 3/27. Handy that it lined up on all 3 bureaus, but I think this is a somewhat new feature as previously I'm pretty sure I saw different dates for the same change when I looked at the data whereas I know the reporting dates on all 3 bureaus match but I couldn't begin to tell you when this behavior was actually implemented.
I also recieved an alert for Trans Union yesterday that my score had increased 3 points, when I look at the dash board or scores. It is same score it has been for 3 months. No where other than the alert is it showing that 3 point increase.

The dashboard score won't change unless and until you pony up for a new report.
