For total util, less than 1% is reported as 1% for me.  LOL these days the rounding of your util is overshadowed by AA caused by revolving any balance.

Thanks Hauling!  We've been going bonkers trying to figure out when Orchard reports - we've even called their CSR's to ask - "sometime in the beginning of the month" was the only info I received.  You just made my life SO much easier - I'd send you an ice cream sundae with hot fudge and a cherry if I could.  Or maybe a nice juicy pineapple.  Sorry, guess I'm a little hungy.

If you have a credit-monitoring service that lets you pull daily, you can start doing so toward the end of the month. See what balance (finally) gets reported, and when it shows up on each bureau. They may report that balance at the end of the month, but when they actually send the info in is highly variable, let's say.

HSBC and Orchard have been known to walkabout periodically, and they simply don't bother to update at all. Seems like January is a popular month for this, maybe because of the holidays?

Thanks Hauling - I took your advice and signed up for credit monitoring.  (Fun!)  I already have SW, which I like quite a bit.  I added CreditKeeper through my HSBC Orchard card site.  It gives a version of Equifax's score - which is helpful for me to see - for whatever it might (or not) be worth.  I guess bottom line is I'll have to keep my Orchard card balance to a very limited range until I confirm a pattern.

And I thought I'd better just take care of that yummy Sundae for you - quite yummy!  Thanks twice!
