CC utilization calculation?

On my experian report for the credit limit on my two VISA cards it says N/A

All of my other cards show the actual credit limit

Is my actual credit limit being used to calculate my % utilization or is this something that needs to be fixed?

Re: CC utilization calculation?

That means that they don't report a CL.

Do a search on these forums on "Signature Visa" and read up on what you can do (if anything) to get them to report a CL of some sort. I believe there is some way to get them to report a CL.

Re: CC utilization calculation?

Are they signature visas by chance? If not, then you need to call the CCC and tell them to report your limit to EX.

Re: CC utilization calculation?

Yes they ARE Signature VISAs

Does that mean they're OK?

Re: CC utilization calculation?

Thanks!!!

Looking back it looks like VISA Signature cards DON'T report your limit, from the posts I read the CRA's supposedly use your highest balance?

That gives me some pretty good vibes because that means my util was around 20% and it will now be 2 or 3%

But I can see where it would really suck if you never had a HIGH high balance on those cards

The more I read here the more I learn but also the crazier this whole CR magic number seems
