CONFIRMED - High Credit Limit Ignored

I just confirmed multiple threads on this topic myself today.

I know @Anonymous , @Anonymous   and others have confirmed this, but I needed to see first hand.

I reported AZEO with  BOA cash rewards 7K balance with CL 99.9K

my EX Fico 2 (mortgage) was 813.

Today I reported another balance cap one $54 balance with CL 10K

now my EX Fico 2(mortgage) is 820

7 points gain.

so I confirmed the high CL credit card  was ignored

NOTE:

  • my Fico 8 did not change (835)
  • FICO2 auto and credit card also had big jumps

My next experiment:

  • Cap one auto is closed, when it is  reported  I want to see the impact.
  • will do AZEO with only cap one $54 balance on 10K limit and see impact on FICO 8 ( I am currently at AZE2)

Re: CONFIRMED - High Credit Limit Ignored

Good info, thanks for sharing!

Can you quantify for us the gains you saw on the other older models?

These are all Experian FICO 2 scores. All other scores did not see any change

Re: CONFIRMED - High Credit Limit Ignored

Version 5 & 4 & 3 should’ve moved as well. did you pull reports before and after? because those aren’t updated daily, Plus you have to make sure the cards have reported before you pull each time, because they’re slow to update at TransUnion and Equifax, IME.

Re: CONFIRMED - High Credit Limit Ignored

All the above tables are from EX

I have not pulled my EQ and TU yet. I will pull likely on Wed.

Even when I pull EQ and TU , it will be difficult to quantify the AZEO to AZE2 change.

For EX mortgage.

  • when 2 inquiry removed (no inquiry for 1 year) - I gained 11 points
    • 802 to 813
  • when moved from AZE0 to AZE2  in above table - I gained 7 points
    • 813 to 820

So when I pull my EQ and TU on wed, the gain will be combination of inquiry removed plus AZE0 to AZE2.

I will still update, but it will be difficult to decipher what gain is for inquiry removed or AZE2

@barca oh you've got inquiries on TU and EQ as well that are aging off right now? That would complicate matters. What about EX3? Any data is appreciated!

Re: CONFIRMED - High Credit Limit Ignored

I have no scoreable inquiry on  EQ and TU.  it was removed same time as EX.

I had two events in one month span. both events apply to all credit bureau.

  • no scoreable inquiry (2 mortgage inquiry removed same day on all bereau Dec 19)
  • AZEO to AZE2

So when I check myFICO monthly report on Wed , EQ , TU , EX will have two events already happened.

I have checked EX per event, becuase of the EX daily monitoriing

but for EQ and TU, I had to wait for myfico monthly pull to check.

  • so when I check EQ and TU two events would have occured.

BTW : for EX3 Credit Card I lost 4 points when I move from AZEO to AZE2 in the table above (817 to 813)
