Can a score change during the day?

Let's say I pull a FICO score early morning, then pull again at night, will it be possible to some lender report during the day and the score be different?

I know when a card reach the statement date it gets reported to the bureaus and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days to get the update, is there a cut time during the day to get reported?

What I want to know if it is possible for 2 FICO from same day be different, because the provider pulled the information at different times the same day (both being TU, EX or EQ, I know each FICO is slight different between bureaus), and there was a change during the day.

Absolutely you can have two FICO08s for the same CB on the same day.

If a creditor reports that day -- utilization change, or a hard inquiry, or a CLD, etc.

Re: Can a score change during the day?

Thank you, I forgot about HPs, they are instant, so that will change the score the same day if pulled before/after the HP.

I was only thinking about the information the bank send to the bureaus. Do you know if this information (statement balance) is reported at certain time or it could be anytime during the day? I read that the bureaus take a few days to update after statement close, but I don't know if all processing is done before a certain time in that day.

Re: Can a score change during the day?

Honestly it depends on the creditor and how they report.

I've had HP alerts show up literally seconds after applying (Credit Check Total, MyFico took a few days).  I've also had HP alerts show up 5 days after on both.

There isn't a pre-set time for when they submit to the CRAs, and if you use a monitoring website, there's no particular time they'll be looking for changes.

Even if the lenders report at a certain time of day (call it 8 pm EST or whatever) there's no guaruntee the bureaus will insert the data at a consistent time... actually that process varies wildly, by weeks sometimes.

In reality you can get bureau changes at any time of the day, since there's no predicting when the bureau will actually get the data inserted into the database; the only things which fall outside of that (at least to my knowledge) are inquiries since there's great value to lenders / bureau for having those as near real-time as possible.

Fraud alerts / freezes may be real-time too come to think of it, really aren't many other cases I can rationally think of where everyone needs to know now as balance updates or whatever, if they're a week late, other than individual consumers nobody cares and we don't rate much.
