Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Removed and Score Dropped!!!

I had a similar experience with my EX.  ON 12/21 my final bad account dropped and I got a 47 pt bump.  On 12/26 my Ch13 dropped (3 months early) and I lost 3 pts.

@Yeliaba1 when the 13 dropped and you became clean, you switched Scorecards, assuming you have no other derogatories.

@Anonymous  LOL, this is French to me!  I read through the Score Primer (no clue) and I also read through the Score Factors and pulled looked at my FICO report on my other screen and I dont see any of these reasons (unless I'm looking in the wrong place).  Maybe we can talk offline; or via email because this seems extremely confusing to me. I am a contruction project manager and do a hell of a job at that; but this.....I'm afraid; I don't understand any of this.  I'm sorry

@Yeliaba1 Same thing happend to me but I think mine was attibuted to several inquiries falling off and a bad account drop off.  My score shot up 50 points; then soon after that (just like you), the Chapter 13 fell off and the score dropped.

@AnonymousIt sounds like it’s maybe a Scorecard reassignment going from a dirty card to a clean card. Ill Post again or PM you.

edit: Yeah that’s my conclusion after reading back through the thread it was scorecard reassignment, as was explained above sometimes that can cause the score to go down I have also PM’ed you.

Thought I'd share this. My recent MYFICO update (12/27) reflected that my BK13 had been removed and there had been a small drop in my score.  Today, I received an EX alert that my BK dispute had been updated.  I got a 21 pt boost.  I'm definitely confused, but I'll take it.

Question for you, how did you get your BK 13 removed so early? I filed in 2015, and from what I understand I have about another year to go before mine falls off. Did you do anything to get it off? What date was your BK filed? Mine was 08/01/2015.

I had a lot of discrepancies in my BK. I challenged it with LexisNexis and they removed it. Then I forwarded that info to the credit bureaus and they deleted it. The original attorney (paralegal) who filed mine; no longer worked for the attorneys office. It was a process, but it took about 2 weeks total.
