Checking FICO scores

Anyone know where I can check my three ficos on a trial. without paying the 39.99 upfront for it. need to check me and my wifes and dont really wanna spend 80 bucks today to do it. we both have identity iq, however hers show 600 across there but car dealership told us hers was 429 thatsa a 180 point difference and makes no sense.

Re: Checking FICO scores

You can go to Experian.com and do a 10day trial for $1

It will show you your TU, EX, and EQ FICO8s and then you get daily updates of your EX score until the trial ends.

To cancel, you just "update" your membership to the "Basics" package, which is free.

You can do this trial over and over again and the information will be stored in your account's history.

Re: Checking FICO scores

Like @calyx stated go to Experian and get them for $1/ea person.

One thing to take into consideration is auto loans don't use a Fico 8 score.  They use auto enhanced scores which take into account previous auto loans / payments.  If she hasn't had any auto loans or they were defaulted/repossessed it's possible to have a lower auto score.

180 points though does seem to be a bit much.... Even a BK normally doesn't take them that low.  Definitely time to pull everything and get to work cleaning things up.  Look in the rebuilding section for hints and tips to clean things up.

Re: Checking FICO scores

If you do the CCT/Experian 7-day trial, they will give you your FICO8 as well as Auto 8 and Auto 2 scores. Just make sure to cancel back to the basic plan before the 7-day trial window expires.

Re: Checking FICO scores

Looks like you need a different dealer or find your own financing and walk in w/ a check.

2-weeks to 45 days is your timeline for combine inquiries for single pulls on scoring.  Depends on the CRA.
