Re: Clean on all 3

BBS- a 6.7 year old 40 $ unpaid charge off. I never paid it because I did not owe it 😧 I thought maybe 20 points with it being that old, same fell off EQ earlier in the week and I netted 35 points but that was the same day overall UTI went from 22 to 14 so hard to say! On TU my UTI was already reporting at 14 prior to the drop off !

A utilization drop from 22% to 14% would not yield any score gain, as no threshold is crossed (29% or 9%) so you can be sure that the points you gained were 100% due to that charge off being removed.

Re: Clean on all 3

BBS does dropping UTI on one card from 61 to 24 effect though, one of my cards had previously reported at 61 due to an oversight on my part

It could, but the amount of points would be minimal in my view.  Aggregate utilization is King to individual utilization.  While that is a big drop from an individual card, it's not going from maxed out to single-digit, where even doing that some people have only reported a small (5 points or so) gain if the resulting drop didn't cause their aggregate utilization to cross a threshold.  How many total cards do you have?  I would also believe that the gain you experience may have something to do with the percentage of cards that are changing.  By this I mean if you have 3 total cards and drop from 61% to 24% utilization on your only one that's above single-digit utilization you'll likely see more of a difference than someone that's got 15 cards and does the same thing.

8 cards and right now 3 have a balance , hopefully next statement will have below 9 aggregate so I will report back any gains there!!
