I am noticing small things on my credit report that may or fmay not affect FICO score. Just wondering if i need to expend the energy to clean it.
1. Are dispute comments left on accounts after they have been corrected affecting score. Will removong them cause any difference?
2. This account is actually OPEN. Paid as agreed. I am not sure why it is showing as Closed. On the account website it is open. Should i fight to have the Credit Bureau report it as open?
This is a shell of an account. I do not know what this is. I do have an active Chase card opened around the same time. This is some sort of duplicate or incorrect entry. I have 52 total accounts on my report with Average Age at 5 yrs 11 months. Should i go after this account to increase any average age or leave it be?
Regarding your questions
1) If a account is in dispute contact the creditor find out why the dispute comment is there. If you do not see any problems with the acocunt tell the creditor your dropping the dispute. The account after the dispute comment is removed will be fully factored in the FICO score. Secondly if your planning on buying a home the lender will want the dispute comments removed as well
2)Call Synchronny ask why the trade line is showing as closed. If Synchronny closed it get the reason for it.
3) Dispute it as not mine
