Collections account from 2009 (Paid in full) was removed early by Equifax & Transunion, but still being reported by Experian. My guess was that EQ & TU removed the account at their discretion and Experian has not.
I want to call the collection agency and ask them to remove account from Experian but I'm concerned that they might turn around and get it put back on my TU & EQ reports. I don't know if they can do that but that is what is keeping me from getting in touch with CA.
Any thoughts? Thanks
Except for the CA on your EX report, do your three reports have the same information (account opening dates, balances, inqs, lates and other baddies, if any)? If not, what are the differences between the three?
The collection is 5 years old and I don't think it's hammering your EX score. Besides, if you decide to act, the consequences could be unpleasant. You don't want to take a chance on having this collection on all three reports again and having the status updated to 8/2014. I'm inclined to leave it alone.

Thanks fused for such a quick reply. I'm with you on this one. I'll leave it alone.
Thanks again
