I have been faithfully reading every piece of information on these boards since the middle of January. I can't begin to express my appreciation to everyone who has been willing to post information. I have been working on our reports for two months, and the ideas in many of these forums really helped me with the cleanup. My score has come up roughly 50 points in that time. Corrected some inaccuracies, got some fortunate goodwill, and decreased some utilization.
Our lender pulled our scores today. Happily, the myfico score provided here for Equifax was identical at 691. The Transunion score that I pulled here was 677, and was actually 674 on the lender pull. As proof that you shouldn't rely on FAKOs, freecreditreport.com reported my Experian at 716, but my actual was 673. My husband's mid score on the lender pull was 710, which is where I expected it to be... For fun, I pulled creditkarma, which reports me at 698 and my hubby at 688.
Hopefully, this information will be helpful to those of you watching and waiting. I have passed the first hurdle, just waiting on the preapproval...
Good luck!
