Surfing about the various versions of Fico avail - 98, 04 and 08.
I understand that this site uses 98 - I understand that 04 isn't avail. to the public (pls tell me if this changed...)....and from another few posts, 08 is really in a trial period right now, so prolly years away from that.
Which version do MOST credit card companies use? know this is probably complicated, and probably depends on the issuer. I read somewhere on the board that AMEX has their very own scoring model....let's take Capital One....
Which version do MOST auto financing companies use?
I might feel i have a decent score to go and apply for cards then be fooled because the CC's are using a different version....
