In looking at my last 3B pull again from 5/3, I've noticed that my "Credit Mix" has gone from very good to exceptional now that I have a 7th card reporting on my file. Previously it had been labeled very good. Is there some sort of segmentation at 7 accounts? Given that I have a dirty profile for another 2.5yrs it can't be a scorecard change. FWIW my profile is a all revolvers. I have no loans or anything else but the 7 cards on my reports.

Regardless of your rating change, you do not have an optimal credit mix and your score will suffer from that - on clean scorecards anyway. Not sure how mix factors into score on dirty scorecards. It should not impact which dirty scorecard the file is assigned.
Fico does differentiate among card types. I have 5 cards now ( not including AU card). Fico's front end summary says I only have 3 bank cards. It wants me to have more bankcards.
Not sure why it changed your rating. We do know there is a minimum QTY of accounts threshold and not just any old card makes the grade. Do you have any open or closed car leases, CFAs or PLOCs in your file? CFAs, though scored negatively, may be classified as a type of installment loan for mix.
@Thomas_ThumbI know it's not optimal, was just perplexed by it. My report only has 7 bankcard revolvers (6 are regular bank CCs, one is a credit union CC, but NFCU reports normally like any other bank Visa) and I'm not an AU on anything. I've also got no CFAs, car loans, PLOCs or anything else. The last non revolver account on my report was an old student loan (paid off in 2014) that fell off in January 2022, only 2 months after starting my rebuild so I was unscoreable for a few months.
