I applied for a car loan yesterday at the Audi Dealership here in Las Vegas and my Experian score went up 3 points. Is this normal? It doesn't seem right. Also, they're giving a loan with no income verification. Prior to the HP, I told the sales rep that I've had my company for about 1.5 years however my Fico 8's are all in the 790's with the middle score being 797. Also, the last 2 car loans, one was a refi, was paid off early with no lates. I'm tempted to go to the BMW dealership and see what I can get from them on a comparable car.
Might have been somethig else. If you have one of the monitoring services. Check FICO Auto scores. I walked in when I got my Explorer 6 months ago and showed the dealer I was FICO Auto 9 at 779. Chase did pull FICO Auto 9.
I believe it may have been my Amex Plat hitting the 1 year mark.
Maybe. We dont all know that makes FICO tick 100%. We try hard though.

I can assure you that the HP did not cause a score increase.
I got an Amex Plat a year ago and I think that what it was.
