@Anonymous wrote:Thanks guys, I have a long way to go but heading in the right direction. QUESTION: Why are there credit card at the bottom of some peoples posts? Is this their (your) credit cards? If so, why so many?
The cards you see below in their siggy are their's that they have presently, why so many? That's a question you have to ask them
@Anonymous wrote:Hello All,
I am a new user recently rebuilding my credit (4 or 5 months). I finally got my credit cleaned up as much as possible and just applied and approved for two credit cards. I have had none for several years and figured it was time for credit rebuilding purpouses. The simulator says my score would increasr from 627 to 652. Question is how long will it take for this to happen? There is no timeline that I have seen on the simulator to tell me if this would be immediate or 1 year from now. I am currently waiting for the cards to come in the mail so there has been no transactions yet. Any feedback on a timeframe of getting my score over the 650 mark would be appreciated.
Thanks,
If you have absolutely zero revolving tradelines open right now, the simulator might well be right in this case when talking FICO 8.
I'd be interested in hearing what the result was when your two cards do report... and congratulations on your approvals! Quality starting lineup to be sure!

I think you could be at about 650 in about 6 months to a year after those credit cards are reporting to the credit bureaus.In 2 years you could be near 700 or above.As long as your never late,keep balances low and only open credit accounts as needed.You will see faster progress going from the 600's into the 700's..When your in the 700's and aiming for 800's the results are less and proven to gain more points over time.
