Credit Score Question

I recently attempted to refinance my home and had to pay for an appraisal.  I paid for the appraisal via credit card.  The house did not appraise well because there were no comps in the area.  So the appraisal company refunded my appraisal fee.  The refund has not yet posted and the credit scores have since posted and therefore my credit scores fell significantly due to high utilization.  Will the credit scores jump back up to what they were the next time credit scores post?

Re: Credit Score Question

It was, but they were unable to do the appraisal due to no comps in the area.  I have to wait and try again when a sale takes place in the area that is comparable.

Re: Credit Score Question

I agree, that was very nice of the appraisal company.  I am not sure that is common, even under those circumstances.

I also agree in regard to easily getting the points back.  Most folks here state that Util has no memory, therefore the points should come back as soon as the credit goes through and reported to the CB's.
