I have had a plus 800 score for years. This year my score has kept falling about 5 points per month but there are no reasons given and no notices. I have 3 cards, all are paid off to 0 regularly. There are no new accounts showing as opened either.
How can a credit score drop without any reasons given on the credit report?
How can I get details on why it's happening so I can resolve it.
Is it possible that you have old closed accounts, that were in good standing, falling off your reports? If that's the case, your total number of accounts(open and closed) is falling, and it could be a lot of positive history falling off of your report, resulting in your dropping of 5ish points per month.
W/out viewing your reports or knowing about them, I would suspect this to be the case..
If you are getting scores from this site, it's worth mentioning that two of the scoring models have changed recently, and this will affect your score.
I'd also suggest looking over your reports carefully to see if all information is accurate, and check whether old accounts are falling off.
Also, if you let some utilization report before paying off your cards, your scores may bounce around as a result of doing so.
Well, I also have had a score drop for NO REASON!!! Side-by-side comparisons of my two TU scores... 30 days apart. Last month 671... this month 621!!!! And NO real reason! Nothing dropped off, and my cc utilization wasn't so out of line that it would've caused that kind of score drop. What gives???? My other two scores went up... and this one dropped... and drastically!!

Transunion here at myFICO just switched from FICO '98 to FICO 8: 10 years difference in the algorithm and it switched on Saturday last weekend to my knowledge. It should be similar to the current EX and EQ pulls assuming the information is the same on the reports.
