I purchased an Experian three-bureau report and score package, which showed me with a 586 score for Experian, 598 for Equifax, and 586 for TransUnion.
In disputing items on the reports, I ran into an issue with Equifax not being able to provide online dispute services for me. I called Equifax and in the discussion, was told I have a credit score of 0 with Equifax because I have no recent credit history. I mentioned the Experian three-bureau service showing a 598 for Equifax and was told that's just Experian's estimation of my credit score with Equifax.
I then decided to check my TransUnion score directly and got a score of '3F', which as far as I can tell is in the 500-600 range, but I have no idea if TransUnion has me in the high 500s like Experian says or not.
This is the first time I've heard of these types of scores. Can someone shed some light on how to deal with a '0' credit score (I'd prefer not to decrease my score by appling for a low-dollar credit limit on credit card with loan shark rates) and what to make of the TransUnion score of '3' instead of a typical three-digit score?
I would look at getting a couple of really good secured cards, like this one:

Got the Capital One Secured credit card today with a $200 limit.
Ran into an issue with MyFico not being able to verify my identity online and turns out it's the same issue as Equifax -- MyFico doesn't have a credit score for me, either, because I don't have any credit history in the past six months.
Maybe I'll get a score in a couple months after Capital One starts reporting.
It take 6 months to get a fico score!
