DISPUTES AND FICO SCORING

Please help!

My credit score was 613. I had a credit card with a balance of 2500.00 and I owed 1900. I recently paid the card down to 1128.00 which is less than 50% utilization. I have a HSBC card. My limit is 730. I owed over 400.00. I recently paid it down to 125.00. I have a Sams card. I recently paid the balance down to 0.00. The only other things on my credit report were medical bills which have been paid off and school loans that went into collections years ago and were paid off. I disputed the medical bills writing that the bill is no longer my responsibility since I paid them off. I was told to dispute the medical bills to see if they would be removed. I did the same thing with the old defaulted school loans since I paid them completely off several years ago. I wanted them to be removed. So, my credit score should go up, right? I literally just disputed these things last night with Equifax. I was shocked to see that my credit score never went up. It dropped from 613 to 602. Equifax couldn't tell me why. They told me to call FICO and of course FICO is closed tonight. I am furious to say the least. What happened??????????????????? Why would my credit score drop just because I dispute something that I already paid off? The things I disputed haven't even made their way to the creditors for a response. Please advise.

Thanks

Re: DISPUTES AND FICO SCORING

Was the Sams card opened or closed?

Were any of the credit cards disputed?

Were the SLs removed due to the dispute?

Were the medical CAs removed?

Did the limits on the $2500 CC or the $730 CC change?

What is/was the CL on the $0 balance CC?

Re: DISPUTES AND FICO SCORING

The Sam's club card bal is 0. The limit was 230 and the card remains opened.

None of the credit cards were disputed and all remain open.

I just filed the disputes on 11/9/09 at night. I didn't dispute them as not being mine. I disputed them as me no longer being responsible for them as they have been paid.

None of the limits on my credits cards changed.

Did I also mention that I paid another 450.00 on the cc with the 2500.00 limit? I paid it the same night, The balance is now 1128.00 or so which is below 50% utlization. This particular cc will report this week.

From everything I have read, your score remains the same when something is in dispute until it is resolved one way or another. My score definitely should not have gone down. It should have gone up with the lower cc balances, or at the very least it should have remained the same. There are no new cards, no new delinquencies, no credit limit decreases, no new inquiries. Nothing. It just doesn't make sense.

Thanks for your response.
