Not sure what happened but on my son's TU account, all history has been deleted, AAoA is 1mo. 59 pts drop.
Anyone know why?
He had 3 older 11 year accounts now gone.
Equifax is intact.
Were those accounts closed? If so, they usually drop off after 10 years of no activity (closed).
11 year old FICO score = "Scorecard C" as I call it, or the third best possibly scorecard for FICO. The FICO "Length of Credit" isn't just AAOA but also the age of your oldest reported account. Length of Credit = 83 total points, so getting rid of 11 year old accounts and dropping to 1 year old or less accounts likely can be a 60 point drop as he fell out of the 3rd best scorecard and into either the lowest possible "positive" scorecard. I believe each positive scorecard is worth about 10 points or so, so 59 points is probably 40 points for dropping 4 scorecards, and 19 points for dropping AAoA.
Two open, one closed....hoping it is a glitch. He is waiting on Cli with Nfcu next week.

For ABC to analyze, The 3 accounts total, Two open are only CCs or 1 CC and 1 installment? Were they recently opened past 2 months?
For the closed account, when was it paid off? and was it a CC or Installment?
Anything on 3rd report intact or score drop?
DS raise utilization in past month on open accounts, if so by what percent?
Are reports clean, or any new recent lates, any disputes or consumer comments added?
All reports are clean.
Cap1 - Open 11 years, 4% uti
Lowes Store Card - Open 11 years, 0% uti
National Installment closed 8 years
4 new accounts, one is 66% uti prior to statement cut
Equifax intact, no score drop
Experian unknown due to freeze, waiting for report
No disputes, no comments.....was previous victim of id theft...hmmm bet that resulted in total deletion of old history
Thankfully, Navy pulled EQ for him
