hi all,
just wondering if your credit score should go up everytime a bad item is deleted. Thanxz. Just recently had 6 items deleted and hoping that will help my score out.
If everything else stays exactly the same, I would expect a score increase when a baddie is removed.
There are so many variables involved, some times it is hard to pinpoint exactly what has happened.
If your UTI stays exactly the same, CLs the same, etc, then you still have to consider that time has passed.
For example, a late payment in Jan 2015 counts more than a late payment 2 years ago. As time passes, it has less of an impact. The same for INQs.
In general, I would still say yes, I would look for a score increase.

each time one fell off or was deleted i saw increases of between 10-48 points.
My tu score went from 676 to 752 friday when 2 collections were deleted. A third was deleted later friday but score didn't change when I looked today. Collections were from 2010 ($135) and 2013 ($169).

My score went down when a CO was deleted today, by 18 points. Nothing else changed but AAoA, by 6 months. What could of happened?
A couple of months ago, my aaoa went down from .8 years to .4 and I lost 15 or so points. I had a collection deleted, I believe. Or a student loan hit my reports.
