Difference between 0% util and 1% EQ Fico 08

When my accounts posted with 0% util my score became 655 then a small change happened unknown raised it to 660 yesterday with $1 posting on my DCU card today my score is now a 687.

So for myself the difference between using 0% credit and 1% is 27 points.

Which is pretty crazy really that can be the difference between not good and good credit.

Figured I would share.

EQ04 675, EQ08 676, EX08 719, TU08 703 $12704.75/$123050 Revolving Credit (All 0% or 1.99%) - In Garden Since 5/25/2016

Last negative item should fall off in July 2017.

I think it depends on which CRA though.  I beleive one of them prefer to see 0% utilization and the other two want to see some % of utilization to prove that you are actively and responsibly using your credit.

Starting Score: 573 (EX Faco) | Current Scores: EX(Fico) 674, EQ(Fico) 668, TU(Fico) 691
