Cool to finally get a straight answer if EE Applies to lates or not, Experian has their interpretation on their website which is to delete the string, eq the general consensus is the month by month TU is the confusing one, some say the string, some say month by month, also gotten both answers directly from TU and members here also I'm just so excited to get them gone, I never knew when I was 21 this would follow me around for 7 years the month to month interpretation sucks but it is what it is at least I will have a squeaky clean ex in July Smiley Happy

Oddly it has no DoFD on annual credit report all it says is October 2013-june 2014 and the lates, loans are still open, they are also student loans may be why

Edit: anyway I think we have figured out discover scorecard is screwy, so I got my answer so we can probably lock and delete this thread since it's kind of off topic now Smiley Wink

Yeah because they're still open apparently. Either way, it's seven years from the date of the late.

Re: Discover scorecard vs Experian TU score

Funny now TU on Experian says 694 so who knows lol. Maybe discover caught something they didnt.

I wonder if I paid the lower amount ones off it would make TU be willing to EE them at some point, they said they do them month by month *if they are still open* so I wonder if they do wipe the whole thing if it's closed out

Re: Discover scorecard vs Experian TU score

No I’m not buying that about discover. You can’t count on their data as you can see from the inquiry count. There’s been plenty of reported snafus with it. In my opinion the only thing that I would maybe trust would be the scores which incidentally is what’s in question and I’m assuming it was pulled on the same date it's dated, which is not true with all issuers. Remember, they queried TU and got that score just like EX queried TU and got their score.

Keep in mind Trans Union is notoriously slow to update after furnishers report information as well.

I think there were changes on your report in between the 11th and the 20th or previous updates were applied belatedly by TU that took points and gave them back, IMHO.

With all the changes you had going on, depending on the point in time, the score would have been going up and down till it stabilized with no changes.

When you say closed out are you referring to loans paying them off and closing them? If so maybe.
