and why would that be the case? I have never heard of a CRA considering a hard pull to be unscoreable unless it's past the 1 year time threshold. But this inquiry is brand new, and even stranger the other CRA reported it as a normal inquiry.
At this point I understand that none of us can say with any level of certainty why this happened, we would all just be guessing, but I figured it's an interesting topic and guessing can be a fun game in its own right.

Guessing can also lead to incorrect answers or solutions and perpetuate inaccuracies.

Well, now you have heard of it. It happens all the time. I don't think there has ever been a time in my profile when it did not happen -- i.e. that the number of inquiries which I can count having occurred within the past 12 months exceeds the number being considered in my "new credit" factors by the MyFICO front end.
It has to do with 'bundling' and 'deduping'. I can't predict when exactly it will happen. @Thomas_Thumb knows more about it than I do.

the trick for meis to ask questions to learn, but to try not to stress over those things. It's really more of a curiosity thing: am I always successful in the "not stressing department"? No, but I try.
