I recently recieved and alert on the following on my Discover card for Transunion:
Between Jul 19, 2023 and Jul 20, 2023, the following remark was added to this account:
Dispute resolved; reported by grantor.
I am chatting with a Discover dispute rep and they have stated the following:
Thank you for this information and I show that the dispute flag was never requested to be removed, this is an easy fix, I will go ahead and remove the dispute flag which will put your account back to normal. Do you have any further questions?
I was like yeah, what is a dispute flag and when is this dispute from?
Per federal requirements with credit card disputes, we are required to report the account as disputed to the credit reporting bureaus. However, we have no control over what they do with that information, nor can we see your individual credit report. I did remove the flag for you. And the dispute was from 09/07/22?
