Do transactions affect your FICO?

I have heard in the past about how strip clubs and booze would make your credit card issuer alert as to whether they want to decrease your credit line, but this article outright says it affects your SCORE.

How to shop your way to a better credit score

True, or stretch?

It's not saying that it affects your score directly.  It says that if you shop for certain items or services, it might send red flags to the credit card companies, which might decrease your credit limit.  If the CLD results in a significant increase in utilization, then your score will go down.

It's a pretty neat graphic, though.

I guess I should go to Wallyworld and buy some chair leg pads!

Shoping at Best Buy might not cause AA but will usually incure the wrath of DW.

If you are PIFer (and you should be), use the debit card for purchases made in suspect places.  Never heard of AA on a debit card other than NSF charges.

ROFL!

I would think that a CCC would welcome lustful and liquor charges, for they are uncontrolled vices that would assure future business!

I do not know of a CCC that puts your personal vices higher than their own!
