I disputed with a CA whom I have never received a dunning letter from and if I understand the FDCPA correctly the CA must report the TL as disputed. Does ScoreWatch send alerts for that?
And if a TL is disputed, is it or is it not calculated into FICO scoring?
I don't think that disputes per se trigger a SW alert.
However, if the dispute results in a score change, you should get an alert for the change.
Some disputes take the TL out of some scoring considerations; others don't.
Thank you for posting the link. It says an alert will be issued if there is a change of status on a collection account so unless there is a change to to status or status date I am assuming no.
In my dark, unguided credit days, it seemed like I got some alerts if the comments changed (e.g. account in dispute)

My husband recently disputed something through EQ and yes, he did receive a SW as a result of the dispute. The only change was "account in dispute" added to the comments.
