EQ NFCU and Citi FICO scores not matching, not even close

As those who have NFCU and Citi credit cards you know they provide you with monthly EQ FICO scores.

As stated above, my Equifax NFCU Fico 9 and my Citi Fico 8 scores are not matching with my MyFICO for some strange reason. Is anyone having this issue??? It’s so weird

For the past 2 months, the current scores that Citi and NFCU are providing me are:

Citi EQ FICO 8 is 472

NFCU EQ FICO 9 is 519

MyFICO current scores are:

EQ FICO 8 is 781

EQ FICO 9 is 796

Not sure why this happening, could it be a glitch somewhere? I have no baddies, no collections, no public record or any derogatory on my EQ CR.

I even have a membership directly with EQ that I check my CR everyday and there’s nothing on there that warrants these FICO scores that NFCU and Citi are providing me. My EQ FICO scores has always been consistent for the past 2 1/2 years ranging between 730-780. I called EQ and they don’t see anything on my CR that would make my scores be that low. This is freaking me out!  Even CK I use for credit monitoring, there’s not there that would warrant these scores.

I'm trying to get this resolve as I will be going for a pre approval soon for a mortgage.

I thank you all in advance for your responses!!

I would expect some differences, because they're all different scoring models, taken on different dates, but for differences of 250-300 points..... that makes no sense at all.

The Citi score is EQ Bankcard 8.

The NFCU score is EQ Classic 9.

The EQ 8 you're talking about is I assume EQ Classic 8.

If it were me I would pull my EQ report at MyFICO and see what my actual scores are. If they're normal, I would call Citi and NFCU and let them know they have a glitch.

@SouthJamaica @Thank you for your response. I've called both Citi and NFCU and it was nothing on their part and they advise I call EQ. I gave it another shot and just called EQ again and it seems I have a mixed credit file, go figure smh. So now I have to fax over a copy of my SS card and DL and cover letting on my I'm sending these documents. It takes 3-5 business days to be resolved. We'll see how this goes. Thank you again!

Everyone with a credit score: "EQ, please don't mess up the basics of maintaining my credit profile."
