EQ Score Watch new scoring model?

Five days ago my FICO score from EQ Score Watch was 788. Today, I received an alert that my EQ FICO score had increased to 816. No reason was given for the increase. There alert was issued for any change in my credit report. There is no change in my credit report.

We all know EQ Score Watch uses FICO 04. The maximum real world score for EQ 04 is 818. My credit profile isn't good enough to be anywhere near that.

My last alert from Myfico Score Watch gave my score as 814. That was a few days ago.

I am wondering in EQ Score Watch has switched to FICO 08.

It is likely that you were just switched over. I remember them saying it would be rolled out slowly. Only those that called in for the upgrade could get 08 quickly.

I've never heard anything about Equifax Score Watch upgrading to 08.
