Pulled TC this morning and see that a couple of disputed accounts were deleted, but my FAKO dropped. I don't put too much faith in FAKOs, so I sprung for the FICO....down 78 points!!!!!!!!!
I look and Equifax is again reporting an old, satisfied tax lien (satisfied in 2003)..but they are reporting it FILED on 10/1/2007...not reported...FILED!!! They are reporting it satisfied in 2003, but with the incorrect filed date (actually late 2002), it is affecting my score like a new public record.
My other scores are now in the mid-600s...because of this, what should have also been in the 600s is now 515!!!!
Equifax used to have a great rep, but seems as if lately they can't do anything right.
