Not sure I'll get another opportunity to test this, but if I had to bet, >25k and <31k likely means 29,999.
Not a bad thought or potential plan. I'd be curious to hear the result if you end up doing this.
More data.
Today my BoA Cash Rewards card reported a $58 balance on a $26k limit. That makes me officially AZE2, still with the PR card reporting and now with this one. As expected according to CCT/EX:
a) The no recent balance reason code is gone from FICO2 and it's back to 797
b) No change to FICO8 which remains at 774
If you assume that the PR card is still being dropped for too high a limit then FICO2 effectively thinks I'm AZEO on the CR card. This also explains why previously on a different thread I didn't see any difference between AZEO/AZE2 on FICO2--it was always dropping one of them and seeing it as AZEO already.
So that means for FICO2 the breakpoint is between 26k and 31k. I know, not much of a narrowing--maybe I'll at some point be able to repeat this with a 29k limit card but that might not happen for awhile.

You mean between 27k-31k? Siggy says CR is 27K??
Good job figuring it out CiS!!
Ah! Unfortunately it's siggy that's a typo. Updated. It's a $26k limit on that card, so the break point is between 26 and 31. I'm betting 29,999 but we will need more data to be sure of that.

If my Amex Bonvoy ever reports at 30k I'll grab that datapoint.
