@Anonymous

So first revolving account, score dropped 2 points, second revolving account, score went up 24 points, and third revolving account, score dropped 8 points.

I think there's too much else going on to be able to reply on these data points as being clean.

Well, I have a pretty thin file. Could you point out what else might be going on? All my CC balances are $0, and student loans won’t update my next payments for at least a week.

Re: EX FICO 8 Score changes - new revolving accounts

It just doesn't make sense to me that the same event (adding an account) would cause both score gains and drops, especially if you have little to nothing else going on with your profile.  From my experience, if an event causes a drop it causes a drop, or at times no change at all and if an event causes a gain it causes a gain, or at times no change at all.  The event causing a drop, then a gain, then a drop just feels off to me.  Just my opinion.

Re: EX FICO 8 Score changes - new revolving accounts

I don't know if closed accounts count towards credit mix, if it does not, it might have something to do with the irregularities of the first 2 accounts reporting, especially the 2nd one which is a "bank issued revolver".
