Re: EX SCORE VOLATILITY; WTFICO?

Well if that’s the case, one more account would put you back in a thick profile no matter what kind it is.

You’ve done very well this year. an excellent start to be proud of that will be a good anchor for your AAOA in the future.

To be honest, if I came to the conclusion that’s what it was, I think I would just go ahead and grab one more and lock myself in the garden.

Do you have any installment loans? Can you do an SSL?

@Anonymous, THIS ^ is why we ❤️  you!  Thank you for your candor. I may take your advice; I will do some research on EQ pullers. I have student loans for my son.
I just opened a PNC checking account or maybe I will just go for my 2nd NAVY, since my EQ is 790  (for now) and my TU is holding steady at 730 +\-, so hey, if it is going to be a HP anyway, and I am making a trip out of the garden, I might as well make it count!

Wait a minute, list all your accounts for me first before we go any further. Now you’re saying you have student loans for your son.

I need to know the total number of accounts revolvers and installments on your profile. We don’t wanna make a mistake here.

Re: EX SCORE VOLATILITY; WTFICO?

Are you only seeing the score change at Experian? Because it looks like your fine at Equifax. And it’s questionable on TU because you have one more account at Experian.

And really you should be OK everywhere because of the loans but I wonder if they’re being excluded because they’re deferred? I really don’t know much about how the deferment works with Fico.

Thanks @Anonymous , I am going to follow your advice, since I want to ditch the Credit One anyway, so I need to fill that slot with a non-subprime card at some point, and because you couldn't even get through to a CSR during the pandemic to close it, they waived the AF until September at any rate.
I went back and scoured the forums and  I reread my posts and subsequent responses and thanks to  @AllZero, much like Dorothy in TWOO, the answer was here, the whole time... I joined Langley a few months ago and spoiler alert, they pull EQ! EDIT: NEVER-MIND! Read some more post, NOT app'g Langley, LOL! Still many thanks!
I think I am going to put a bit more $ in my Savings Account with them and then pull the trigger, also partially based on  @Jnbmom 's  Langley approval post from February, they don't appear to be extremely new account sensitive.
Again, thank you @Anonymous for solving the mystery of the -34 point  EX drop and as always, thank you @AllZero !

Yes at least in my experience Langley was not new account or inquiry sensitive at all.
