FICO scores are FICO scores, it just depends on the model you are looking at. A FICO 08 score from myFICO is going to be the same as a FICO 08 score from any other source, assuming it was pulled at the same time using the same bureau information. So yes, you can "trust" what you're getting.
As to whether or not it's worth $30/mo to you, only you can make that decision. I'm sure many on this forum would argue that it is well worth it, where others like myself would never pay more than $2/mo for credit monitoring.

Should I trust the numbers Experian FICO gives you? I've just seen a wild variation in FICO8 scores as well. I'm just looking to see if it's worth paying $30 a month for my FICO account?
Not sure I understand the question, but...
1. The FICO 8 score at Experian.com is extremely accurate; it's basically in real time.
2. The numbers MyFICO gives you are also accurate, but they are a day or two behind Experian.com.
3. For me the $30 month I pay for (a) a full 3B report every month, giving me a whole panoply of FICO scoring models, (b) constant updating of FICO 8, and (c) alerts from time to time on various events.... is well worth it. But it wouldn't be for everybody.
