I cannot figure this out. I asked for an early deletion for 8 150-day lates for mortgage payments in 2015. My FICO 8 score was 696. To my surprise, they were deleted. I have no past due payments on my Equifax report now. My scored did not change a single point.
They listed factors and I got as a positive: No past due payments and I also have negative factor: Serious Delinquency.
I mean WTH?
How long ago were these lates removed from your CR? Also are these the FICO scorings reasons you received with your score?

Serious delinquency also means COs and CAs. Do you have any of those?
I am guessing by the zero score change you have other lates, perhaps? Or were the lates on a derogatory account? Scoring is based on worst status of the account. So if it was CO (for example) and you have all the lates removed, it will not improve your score.
I had over 300 lates on my CRs across 11 accounts (thanks SLs). Many had been aging off month by month and then I had nearly 200 of them removed all at once and I saw zero score change because there were still other lates reporting. Depressing, because you would think have 200 of anything negative would boost your scores, but I had a feeling this would be the case.
I also have "no lates" on EX, but then have both, "serious delinquency" (or whatever) amd "bad payment history", as a negative reason code because I still have 2 x CAs on my EX report. You would think when you have zero lates that means you couldnt have bad payment history, right? Well other derogatory accounts, even without lates reporting show that at some point you had some sort of bad payment history and/or serious delinquency.

They were removed just this week. Yes this is the FICO reasoning. Both no late payments and serious delinquency. Go figure.
