Equifax + Transunion still the same

My Equifax increased 42 points today and I ran my Transunion to see if I got a boost and NOTHING.  I'm trying to get approved for a FHA loan and My Equifax is 653, TU 566, Experian ??

What gives?

What caused your score to go up on EQ and did the same change happen on TU.  Somestimes the CRAs update at diffrent times.  For me TU seems the last one to get the change.  Sometimes even a week or more later.

I'm not sure what changed.  I have score watch so I didn't run a report on EQ.  I disputed some things but I used TU to do it.

I paid 800 dollars on my CC's.  Do you think that will give me a 14 point increase?   566 - 580?

It's impossible to say just from the actual number of dollars.  The important thing to know is your overall utilization before and after the payment.

So that's going from 68% to 53%.  You might see 14 points for that, although it's tough to say.  If you can get your total balances down to 49% or less, I bet it would certainly be doable, though.  That would require an additional payment of $205.

Re: Equifax + Transunion still the same

Thanks for the advise.. The CC companies report to the CRA's on Monday so hopefully I will find out soon.
