Equivalency of Scores

I have only ever bought my score from Equifax which is 717 and I am wondering, do I need to purchase scores from the other 2 agencies? My goal was for a score over 800 but this makes me wonder what the conversion is between the scores and does this goal make sense?

I do plan on pulling a free score report from each of the 3 each year.

No one has been able to buy their own Experian FICO score since February of 2009. Creditors can pull Experian and also there is a CU (PSECU) in Pennsylvania that supplies that information to it's members only. You can only buy true FICO scores at a few places. One place is here at myFICO. I suggest you do an internet search for "myfico discount codes" to save a little money. You can also purchase your Transunion score at www.transunioncs.com. At www.equifax.com EQ will still sell you an EQ FICO score but they make it very hard to find.

Be aware also that NO 3 in 1 monitoring service has FICO scores as part of their reports.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802, EQ - 10/10-813, TU - 10/10-774

Do you know if the score is a FICO score?

Equifax makes it very hard to find on their website, but it is possible that you did find it and have a FICO score. TransUnion lets you purchase FICO scores also just make sure you go to the website transunioncs.com for FICO scores. You can not obtain EX FICO scores accept through PESCU,  and creditors/lenders. You can also purchase your FICO scores here through MYFICO for EQ and TU, and if you do choose to use MYFICO google for discounts before you purchase and save a few dollars.

Each CRA has it's own scoring platform and possibly have different things reporting. Some say it is relevant to know all scores, but IMO it is only relevant to know what is reporting from each of the CRA's.

EDITED to say I am slow today +1 to post above
