I know it is tough to say but does anyone have experience and know a ballpark? Just paid off two overmaxed 500 limit cards and paid a maxed 1500 limit down to 400. I'm curious what I might expect as far as a boost?
Are these your only 3 CCs?
I'm an AU on my wife's card 7500/25000
Wonder if I should get off of that one?
If I had to guess to a point change, then I'd guess 30-35 point gain. Your utilization going from 36.4% to 28.7%. I bet you might see 10-15 points for the util drop and another 20 if any of your cards were reporting at 100% or greater of the CL. Of course, this guess is based on a FICO score as pulled from this website. Other scores from other sources might not increase as much.
I wouldn't drop the AU. The balance is a tad high, but it'll help in the future. Also, if older, you could lose points if removed.
I went from 94% (... I know, I know) to 4% utilization and gained 40 pts.
Last year my EQ scores came from 107% util to 3% util and I saw 103 point rise 540-643. So, i guess being over 100% really kills your score.

Congrats on the paydown. How many CCs were reporting?
Thank you!! I was pretty excited for the increase. I have two Cap1 cards reporting, 1000/500 cl"s. These are my rebuilders. I hope, sometime here in the near future, to enter the prime market.
I'm sorry, my balance reporting is $50.00 on the $1000 cl and zero on the other.
