I recently received a copy of my Experian credit report in response to a cc app., but it did not include a credit score. According to a "rule" or "law" (not sure which one it is nor the name of it) that was effective July 21st (I think), shouldn't a credit score have been included with the credit report? I'm just wondering because I received letters in response to apps (I'm through apping until after the new year), and credit scores were included with both.
Without looking at the law (you may want to double check), I think it applies to denials or change in advertised terms if a score was used in consideration of such denial or change. If approved and got the rate they advertised, then there wouldn't be a letter, from my understanding.

Thanks for your response; the letter was in response to a denial, no score was included... ![]()
EX would not provide you with a score. Whomever denied you for credit would be the source of the credit score.
