Experian Early Exclusion

Carmax $8908.00 charge-off, DOFD 1/17/2014. Off 12/1/2020

TU deleted 6/2020 (6 months early) with huge TU FICO 8 increase - .

Called EX yesterday (9/29/20) and was told it would deleted on October 17, 2020 but will delete on October 1, 2020 when I call. I will update on Friday after getting my new reports.

My only baddies: Carmax CO $8909, GM paid but settled for less, DOFD 6/1/2014, off 5/2021. Low CU, 12 revolvers, 1 car loan. No collections or public records.

EQ 690, EX 709, TU 722.

So far, TU deleted Carmax 6 months early.

It appears that EX deletes 3 months (no baked in 2 months). We'll see tomorrow.

EQ sucks - the reps are clueless and give totally inaccurate information. I'm told that they EE 1 month early but I have little faith.

Re: Experian Early Exclusion

So what was the increase on TU8 when it was deleted?

Re: Experian Early Exclusion

Congrats! And Good Luck with EQ!  Deletion and/or removal of those derogs can be a game changer.

My experience and a few others is that TU may delete sooner than the others.  Although the general statement around here is that TU - 6 month early, EX - 3 months and EQ 1 month.  When it came to my last derog (a 30D) TU deleted long before 6 months (I think it was 11 months), as it was assumed when I posted they might have been doing some house cleaning since others had a similar experience around that time.  EQ actually deleted every derog before EX, between 2-5 months; that last 30D day, 4 months early.  The only bureau I ever requested an EE was EX for that last 30D right after EQ deleted but they decline but ended up deleting 2 months before the mark.

Based on my experience not sure if it's timing, profile specific or the act of requesting EE that could help or hinder.  Either way, early is a gift.

@Anonymous  It was a 15 point increase on the TU. I expected more but at least it got me into the 700 club.

Re: Experian Early Exclusion

Update on my EX EE.

Called 3 times on 10/1. Transferred to dispute dept. Deleted via dispute. Off my CC in about 4 hours on the same day. An increase in score from 700 to 722.

EQ will fall off at the 7 year mark on 12/2020

I have one settled in full charge off from GM - 0 balance - with a DOFD 6/1/2014. It is scheduled to fall off on 5/1/2021. I'm hoping to get an EE with TU in 12/2020, EX on 3/2021. I have very little faith in EQ for EE and will probably get a hard time from them even at 7 years. This CO will be my last baddie aside from 2 30 day lates in 11/2017 and 1/2018 with Santander.

The CO was deleted within several hours of calling them yesterday.

EX 8 went from 700 to 722.

Re: Experian Early Exclusion

Eq deletes 3 months early on their own if you check eq it should be gone honestly, don't touch eq
