Howdy, Can someone help me understand this? I typically see EX update here every 2 weeks. This past month, outside of here (Citi Credit Scorecard in particular) it had a higher score than what was listed on MF and the Experian website. Today, I have a higher score on MF and no where else (including Experian website). I don’t know which to believe. I know it should be here, however it’s nice to see verification elsewhere.
Not quite sure what you're getting at, but I can offer that Citi provides the Bankcard Score 8, not the 'vanilla' Score 8. Experian and myFICO provide (on the dashboard) the Score 8. Might that account for the discrepancy you're describing?
EQ | 850 | 2 INQ (Auto, Mort) | 7y4m |
EX | 850 | 6 INQ (2 CC, 2 mort, 2 auto) | 7y |
TU | 850 | 1 INQ (CC) | 6y8m |
3/24 | 1/12 | AoYA 10m | AoOA 24y2m | ~1% |
Three things can cause two credit scores to be different:
In your case, it sounds like all three were different. The score Citi provides is drawn on Equifax data -- you were comparing that with Experian it sounds like. The dates the scores were generated were different. And I am guessing you were comparing the FICO 8 Classic with Citi's FICO 8 Bankcard Enhanced, which is not only a different model but has a different range.

The EX FICO 8 score on experian.com is more up to date than the EX FICO 8 score on myfico.com
My Ex fico8 score is 18 points higher on Experian's website.
Right now my EX is 10 points higher than EX’s website.
