We'll use Experian as an example here... Pulled both ar 2:30pm CST on 7/25/22.
myFICO.com -> 643
Experian.com -> 667
Both claim to be FICO 8 scores. 34 pts though? I'm stumped.
Look at the individual credit reports to see what's different. It's certainly possible that one is more "up-to-date" than the other.
P.S. This is why CMS get such a bad rap!

1. By my count that's 24 points, not 34.
2. It's got to do with the dates. Experian.com updates quicker.
3. They're both the same exact scores, but not at the same point in time.
Interesting. Experian is on point, but myFICO lags.
I thought myFICO was the holy grail.
@LoriB2022 my expieran always lags myfico for me but they eventually match after a couple days

MF beats Experian for me, usually by a day or so.
The only definitive "holy grail" is a 3B pull. Those will always be on point!

Funny you say that...
I did a 3B on myFICO, then while that was working, I opened a new tab and did a 3B on Experian. Literally 30 seconds apart.
This is why I was stumped. 🤔 Crazy!

wow that it crazy. You've just proven the literal "moment in time" nature of scoring. It can change in seconds!

It was weird to watch everything unfold the moment I was trying to do things!
So for those of you who say your score only updates once a month, that's true for myFICO...but the Experian FICO 8 is in REAL TIME. I've watched my score change on Experian multiple times in a week.
I'm dead.

If you have a subscription with MF you get a 3B once a month, but your FICO 8s update in real time. myFICO updated my FICO 8s several times over the past week.
I guess YMMV!
