Thanks

Re: FICO 9

Haven't heard of any that are using it. It takes a while before the CCC's switch to a new version. It sits with their R&D peeps for several years of testing.

Re: FICO 9

To new so I doubt it

Also bear in mind some models never become popular by lenders thus they fall by the roadside

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: FICO 9

Ok thanks just wondering since FICO stated some lenders and cc companies have adopted the new model. Maybe someone will post if new info arises.

People say that if you bought your reports (from Fico) on or past the 13th of this month, you should have access to it.

Coincidentally, I renewed (and then cancelled) my 3B reports on the 13th of this month and Fico 9 (along with other models) pop up. Will renew and cancel immediately on the 13th of next month and so on....

Re: FICO 9

It will be several years if ever if lenders adopt the new Fico 9 model.   Obviosuly it appears MF is pushing it as included in the new reports, but lenders take years to adopt the new model as they got to parallel it along old models to see if it fits their needs.  Lenders such as PenFed are using nextgen eq 02 or whatever and that is what 10+ years old (Don't quote me on this).  Many lenders still use 04 as well, etc.

Re: FICO 9

I hope they never switch to it, my scores are 20-30 points lower per bureau with the new model Smiley Sad
