Based on post...are the majority of data points reported true FICO 8 SCORES, FICO 9 SCORES OR GENERAL CK SCORES? Can be confusing and just need clarification. If anyone can provide input....would be appreciated.
Hi
Yeah that's a very good element you bring up that i hope more members will clarify when they post approvals and many of them already do or they will usually share that when/if you ask them.
With a few lenders transitioning over to FICO 9 your interest over this takes on some worthwhile meaning to help clarify EXACTLY what FICO DATA POINTS they are sharing in their post approvals.
For example i have now 3 Lenders who have turned to FICO 9 while most all others continue to assign approvals + limits from the FICO 8 version.
Thanks for bringing this up.
Thanks for the clarification.

I would say unless otherwise stated, most provide FICO 8 data points. It's rare that someone will post a non-FICO 8 data point and not reference the non-FICO 8 model that their score is coming from. I imagine that over time with FICO 9 taking over, you'll see more and more people referencing FICO 9 as being the model they are providing data from up until the point that it becomes the "norm" the way FICO 8 is currently. Just my opinion.
