The following question as asked of customer service with a reply to resubit question. Can anyone tell me if the AU credit limit is factored in as AVAILABLE CREDIT LIMITS . In er words does the CREDIT LIMIT benefit me in lowereing my usage percentage TY any help will be great
This is the 2nd e -mail in writing. FICO CUSTOMER CARE replied telling me to log back on and enter my question. If this is not the venue, please be specific to where on the site I can get an official answer not a speculitive one from a member of the community. My question is as follows:
1. Why does FICO bump my score down on a AU account with a simple 100 increase in use....at the same time....why is FICO not reporting calculating my CREDIT LIMITS on the AU accounts they are reporting spending increase? I have 3 LEGITIMATE AU accounts .....none of the creddit limits are factoring into my total available credit limits.
2. I recently dropped as much as 10 points on all 3 credit reports for charging 100.00 additional on to my AU account. It would stand to reason that if the account is reportig use and calculation score as a result, so to should it be reflected in my CREDIT LIMIT
SO over a course of three days I had a non requested credit increae on one of my revolving accounts. Several reports of decreases in revolving accounmts, even a personal loan closed out PAID IN FULL AS AGREED YET my score DROPS . please can anyone explain i know it computurized but can anyone explian to me how this is. Im looking for my FICO to fix this problem if it turns out to be errors TY DB
